“Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” is breaking records worldwide. Just days after its US release, the film already surpassed the lifetime earnings of its first movie “Demon Slayer: Mugen Train” and has climbed to the seventh spot among 2025’s highest-grossing movies.
In Japan, the film earned $2.6 million in its 11th weekend, pushing its domestic total to $236.2 million (¥34.83 billion). It has drawn 24.2 million viewers so far and is on track to overtake “Spirited Away’s” 24.3 million admissions, which would make it the second most-watched movie in Japan’s history, according to KoiMoi.
Globally, “Infinity Castle” has grossed $118.2 million in the US and $261.6 million from other international markets, bringing its worldwide total to $616 million. This puts it ahead of “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” ($598.8M) and “Superman” ($615.9M).
