Cancer-slaying basketball star LA Tenorio’s epic comeback on the hardwood is peak vibes!

After surviving stage 3 colon cancer, Barangay Ginebra Kings OG LA Tenorio is now prepping to return to the basketball court

Just seven months ago, LA Tenorio dropped a bombshell revelation—he was battling stage 3 colon cancer and he was bound for Singapore to undergo treatment.

But in the face of this adversity, he promised that he’d “touch a basketball once more and return stronger” as a member of the Barangay Ginebra Kings “very, very soon,” and that day fans have all been waiting for is almost here!

Tenorio is back on the hardwood, sweating it out and practicing with the Kings ahead of the Philippine Basketball Association Season 48, ready to make it rain on November 5.

And Instagram was lit when the PBA’s “Iron Man” posted a pic chilling in his iconic Kings’ shorts while icing his knees. “Back to work! Grateful and thankful every day! 🙏 NSD!!” said Tenorio. “Let’s do this!” he added.

Last month, Tenorio announced that he’s completely cancer-free after completing his treatments, a beast who conquered his personal Goliath.

Not one to waste time, he even dove into a new role as an assistant coach for the 19th Asian Games basketball gold medalist, Gilas Pilipinas.

Now, Tenorio is ready to slam-dunk on his promise of “touching a basketball once more” and lead the Barangay Ginebra Kings to another PBA championship.
