Back in the ‘90s, schools battled it out not just in sports, but for the ultimate brain supremacy in the legendary quiz show “Battle of the Brains.” Now, 24 years later, a new generation of intellectual warriors is stepping up as “Bilyonaryo Quiz B” makes its grand debut in May.
Bilyonaryo News Channel announced the return of quiz show greatness on X, revealing that none other than David Celdran, the iconic host of “Battle of the Brains,” is back to lead this revamped inter-school showdown for the digital age.
“In an era dominated by Google Search and AI, Bilyonaryo Quiz B firmly believes that human intelligence still reigns supreme,” stated the network. “Intelligence is back on Philippine television,” it added.

For its first season, 27 pre-qualified college students will go head-to-head in elimination rounds, with the final three contenders battling for the grand prize and the prestigious “Bilyonaryo Quiz B College Champion” title.
The competition will cover six classic categories: History, Science & Technology, Arts & Literature, Math & Logic, Geography & Nature, and General Information.
Fans of the OG “Battle of the Brains” are already in their feels, reminiscing about the days of uniform-clad students showcasing their smarts under pressure.
