HORI7ON expressed their admiration for SB19’s dedication to preparing for live shows and reflected on their own beginnings and challenges in South Korea on Billboard Philippines Volumes.
Since debuting last year, HORI7ON has been steadily expanding their global presence, representing Filipino music In South Korea and beyond, all while building a solid fanbase back home, said the K-pop rookie group in an interview with Billboard Philippines.
Marcus shared the joy of performing in the Philippines again, where they first gained support. He also highlighted their recent performance at the SM Mall of Asia Arena with G22, KAIA, Alamat, and SB19.
Group leader Vinci expressed his gratitude for sharing the stage with SB19, crediting the group for paving the way for other Filipino idols in the global scene.
“We were very happy and honored to feel represented in that way before we were idols [ourselves] because they’re great performers. Nakita din namin ‘yung passion nila for their work. ‘Cause we practiced with them and saw the process of how they do their own drills and stuff,” said Vinci.
“Kaya ang saya lang talaga na nakasama namin sila onstage. It was such good energy performing with them and yeah, just being with them,” he added.
