More than a hundred native Philippine dogs had the time of their lives last Sunday as the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) threw an epic celebration for National Aspin Day in Quezon City.
In a social media post, PAWS shared that over 100 Aspins (Asong Pinoy) were pampered with a “Grand Pet Buffet” at Vertis North, Quezon City.
“We were thrilled to spoil over a hundred of these amazing dogs with the Grand Pet Buffet at our National Aspin Day celebration!” it announced. “With the tastiest bites that got their tails wagging nonstop, it was a joy seeing Aspins get the royal treatment they truly deserve.”
It was a paw-some sight as Aspins and their fur parents indulged in 14 dog-licious treats prepared by PAWS, in collaboration with Whole Pet Kitchen and Swell Sweets Cake Lab.
These fur babies were spoiled for choice, starting with High Protein Kibbles, Doggie Malasadas, and Liver Bones. The main course had them drooling over Beef Risotto with Quail Eggs, Buffalo & Veggies Casserole, Chicken & Squash Pot Pie, Beefy Goodness Platter, Chicken & Spinach Delish, and Corn n’ Carrots.
And because no feast is complete without dessert, the Aspins happily munched on Chicken n’ Veggie Muffins, Gotta Love ‘Em Biscuits, Banana Oat Cake, Liver Muffins, and Liver Cake.
It was truly a feast fit for our beloved Aspins, proving that these native dogs are nothing short of royalty!
