Archie’s getting a Filipino glow-up, and it’s serving major nostalgia and local flavor.
SuperManila Comic Con 2025 just dropped a collab with Archie Comics that gives one of the most iconic comic book covers a touch of Pinoy: instead of sharing a milkshake, Betty and Veronica are flanking Archie over the classic dessert of halo-halo.
The cover art is getting reimagined by legendary Archie artist Dan Parent himself, and it’s dropping exclusively at SuperManla Comic Con this September 6-7 in Makati City.
In a Facebook post, SuperManila called it “something truly special,” an event-only variant cover that will be released in very limited quantities, with two different versions for fans and collectors.
The cherry on top is Parent is flying to Manila for the event.
“Meet the man behind the magic, get your comics signed, and be part of Archie history,” organizers shared.
