This sleek bus, carrying every Pinoy music artist’s dream, is finally rolling through the streets of South Korea, the land of K-pop.
FM radio station 107.5 just dropped the bomb: they’re unveiling the new Wish Bus on June 9 at Busan Eurasia Platform, Outdoor Plaza in Busan!
The launch is perfectly timed with the 75th anniversary of the Philippines-Korea diplomatic ties, the 126th Philippine Independence Day and the 29th National Migrant Workers Day.
The Wish Bus first hit the road in August 2014 as a trailblazing platform for all musical acts regardless of agencies and networks.
Fully furnished with cutting-edge facilities for live radio broadcasts and performances, it brought the traditional radio experience out of the booth and into the streets, roads, and parks, making music closer to the public.
Wish CEO Daniel Razon has big dreams for the Wish Bus, aiming to launch these mobile stages worldwide to give Filipino artists a global spotlight. They’ve already wowed Hollywood six years ago, and now, it’s South Korea’s turn.
“What we really wanted to do is to multiply the Wish 107.5 Bus so we can showcase our Filipino artists all over the globe. We want the Wish 107.5 Bus to become a pride of the Philippines—capable of bringing Filipino talents to the world, not just here in the country,” he said at the 3rd Wish Music Awards in 2018.
For its South Korea debut, P-pop giant SB19, singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo, OPM singer Zephanie, Pinoy K-pop group HORI7ON, and award-winning pop indie artist Esay Belanio will mark the milestone with unforgettable performances.
