Angelica Panganiban’s recent vacation in Sydney would have been Insta-perfect with its sweet fam bonding, picnics by the beach, and homemade dinners — that is until she dumped a whole load of laundry in the bathtub.
The hilarious incident started when the actress couldn’t figure out how to use the unfamiliar washing machine at the house she was staying in with her fiancé Gregg Homan and their little munchkin Amila Sabine, aka Bean.
“Nahihiya kami magtanong. Mapapalaban tayo ng English, mga kababayan, kaya tiyaga-tiyaga na lang dito. Sandaling pagod lang naman,” she said, showing a pile of clothes she washed in the tub.
“Akala ko nakaangat-angat na ako noong nakapunta ako ng ibang bansa. Andoon pa rin tayo, mga kababayan, ano. Akala ko aasenso,” Angelica added in a vlog uploaded this week.
Apart from the laundry adventure, Angelica treated her YouTube followers to a sneak peek of her fun time shopping for groceries, cooking meals with her soon-to-be hubby, and cuddling with their year-old daughter.
The first-time mom shared she had always wanted to live among Aussies, admiring their laidback and fun-loving lifestyle.
“Feeling ko kasi cool silang mga tao, masiyahin lang sila. Dito sa Australia, maaga nagko-close yung mga shop, like 4, 5 sarado na, then maaga sila gigising, magsu-surf sila, maaga sila matatapos sa work…Parang they value their mental health, their fun,” she said.
“Sa atin sa Pilipinas, alipin tayo ng trabaho, so parang nakakalimutan na natin mag-enjoy. Sabi ko, gusto ko tumira sa Australia one day, so dapat ang mahanap ko Australiano.”
Pointing to her partner and baby, she said, “Tsaran! Ang mag-ama kong Australian.”
