Let’s be real, finding that elusive thing called happiness is like chasing fireflies in the dark. It’s tough! We all know that what makes one person do the happy dance might leave someone else feeling totally meh.
But for Tandag Bishop Raul Dael, the secret sauce to real happiness is all about how you see yourself and how the Big Guy Upstairs sees you.
“If we look into ourselves and see how God has blessed us personally and uniquely, we will experience real joy and happiness,” said Dael to the churchgoers at the Tandag Cathedral last Sunday.
But here’s the real scoop: the bishop says that if you spend your time sizing yourself up against others, you’re setting yourself up for frustration and dissatisfaction.
“When we start comparing ourselves with others, we will never be happy,” said Dael.
