“Dragon Ball Z” creator Akira Toriyama may have passed on, but his legacy, like Son Goku, forever lights up the hearts of 90s kids.
In an Instagram post, actor Dion Ignacio warped the 90s kids into silently humming—or even singing—Dragon Ball Z’s iconic opening song, “Cha-La Head-Cha-La.”
Strumming on his electric guitar, Dion paid homage to the anime legend, urging fellow 90s kids to join in one final salute to the “father” of Son Goku and “grandfather” of Son Gohan.
“Kaway kaway sa mga Batang 90s,” Dion wrote in the caption, summoning the spirit of their childhood memories.
Akira Toriyama passed away on March 8 due to acute subdural hematoma at the age of 68 years old, leaving behind a legacy cherished by generations.
